Keeping track of your garden and houseplants

One plant wants water twice a week, another hardly any in winter, and the olive tree needs to come inside when it freezes. In Domeaz your plants live in a drawn garden, and you get a nudge when they need something.

Take a photo, get a care plan

Take a photo of a plant or type its species, and Domeaz suggests the care: how often to water from April to October and in winter, feeding, misting, pruning and repotting, with tips and a warning if it may be toxic to pets or children. You adjust everything before saving. Filling it in yourself always works.

One reminder a day, and rain counts

Your plants stand as pots in your garden, grouped by spot, and look happy, thirsty or a little droopy. You get at most one notification a day for all your plants together. Switch on the weather and a good shower counts as watering for your outdoor plants, and Domeaz warns you about frost, heat and storms.

The plant doctor, when a plant is unwell

Yellow leaves, spots or bugs? Tick what you see and take a photo. The plant doctor also looks at how often you water and at the weather, and tells you what is probably wrong, what to do now and what to avoid. A different watering rhythm is one tap away, and after a few days the app asks how it is going.

Frequently asked questions

Is the garden free?
Yes. For free you keep track of five plants, with reminders. You can try the plant scan and the plant doctor three times each for free. With Premium, plants and the scan are unlimited, and you can ask the plant doctor up to twenty times every thirty days.
Does it work for houseplants too?
Yes. Every plant is indoors or outdoors. Indoor plants get no water from the rain and no frost warning.
How does Domeaz know the weather?
When you switch on the weather, the app asks once for your approximate location, rounded to a few kilometres. The forecast comes from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. If you leave the weather off, the garden simply works without it.
Can my housemate water the plants too?
Yes. Everyone in the home sees the same garden, and a housemate's watering shows up for you straight away.
