Deleting your account and data
You can delete your Domeaz account at any time. You can do it in the app, and — if you no longer have the app — by email.
In the app
Open Domeaz and go to “Me” → “My data” → “Delete my account”. You first see exactly what will happen, type DELETE to confirm, and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately: first your account, then your files — nothing is ever left half done.
Without the app
Send an email from the address your account was created with. We need that address to verify the request is really yours. You will hear back within 30 days, usually much sooner.

- Your account and the way you sign in (email, Apple or Google), your profile (name and avatar), your notification preferences and the push tokens of your devices — the token on the device you delete from is revoked right away. Your customer profile at RevenueCat, which we use to track your subscription status, is wiped as well.
- Homes where you are the last member, with everything in them: appliances, contracts, contacts, maintenance, home information and all attachments and documents.
- In homes you share with others, the content stays for the other members — otherwise they would lose their own records. What you added remains, but is detached from you: your name is removed from it. If you were the only admin, the longest-standing other member becomes admin.
- Backups are overwritten within 30 days. Data we are legally required to keep — such as invoices for the tax authorities — is retained for as long as the law requires.
Mind your subscription
An active Premium subscription continues if you only delete your account: it is managed by Apple or Google, not by us, and wiping your RevenueCat profile does not stop it. Cancel it in the App Store or the Play Store before you delete your account.
Take your data with you first?
In the same “My data” section you can export everything as a single zip file: a readable file with your account, profile, homes and all content, plus all photos, receipts, PDFs and manuals of your homes. Do that before deleting — afterwards it is gone.
