What you keep track of with Domeaz

Six parts that refer to each other. An appliance belongs to a contract, a contract to a supplier, and the maintenance knows which appliance it is about — so that when something breaks, you are not searching.

Appliances and warranty

Brand, model, serial number and the receipt. You see which warranty is about to expire — and with Smart Scan you photograph the type plate instead of typing it all out.

You record brand, model, serial number, purchase date and warranty period, with the receipt attached. Domeaz highlights a warranty that expires within 45 days, so there is still time to claim. With Smart Scan you photograph the type plate: brand, model, serial number and category are suggested, and you confirm. If it recognises nothing, the photo simply stays as an attachment.

Contracts and fixed costs

What you pay each month, and how long you can still cancel. The notice period is on the card, so you will not miss it.

For each contract you record the amount and frequency, the provider, the end date and the notice period. Domeaz works out how long you can still cancel and puts that on the card as “Can be cancelled until” — with a reminder well before that date.

Maintenance

Recurring jobs with their own rhythm — yearly, seasonal, or whenever suits you. With a reminder well in advance, and who is doing it.

Maintenance repeats on an interval or by season, without drifting: tick off a yearly service two weeks late and the next one still sits on its original date. You choose how far in advance you want a reminder — from the day itself to a month ahead — and who does the job: a housemate, a professional from your contacts, or the party behind a service contract.

Contacts

The plumber, the installer, the landlord. Call or email straight away, linked to the appliance or contract they belong to.

Contacts are unlimited, including on the free version. You link them to the appliance or contract they belong to, so that when something breaks you reach the right person in two taps instead of searching your address book.

Costs

What your home costs per month and per year, broken down by category. Fixed costs and maintenance kept apart — never added up.

Fixed costs and maintenance costs appear as separate cards and are never added together — a monthly bill and a yearly expense are simply not the same thing. When ticking off maintenance you can optionally record what it cost, so the yearly overview grows with it.

Keep track together

Invite your household with a code. Someone who does not use the app can still be listed as the person doing a job.

You invite housemates with a code that is valid for fourteen days. Changes appear live for everyone. Someone who does not use the app can still be added by name — useful when that is exactly the person doing the job. And if you have several addresses, you switch between homes at the top.
